The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) report shades more light on the level of contributions of the extractive sector to the economic and social development of Uganda, and to improve transparency and good governance at all levels of the extractive industry value chain.

This report covers various components such as payments made by extractive entities and revenues received by government agencies and other material payments and benefits to government agencies as stated by Requirement 4.1 of the 2019 EITI Standard, and the contributions of extractives to Uganda’s economy between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 (FY 2019-20).
