Invitation for Bids: Gbuluku-Atuni Water Supply System
Oxfam is an international NGO confederation which works in over 90 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, inequality and injustice. In Uganda, Oxfam started work in the 1960s and since then it has continued implementing both development and humanitarian projects to support practical innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive.
The Government of Uganda in partnership with the Federal Republic of Germany are funding a Refugee Response Fund (RRF) in Northern Uganda in the Districts of Yumbe and Arua. The RRF was established to support sustainable and longer-term solutions and to address the immediate needs of refugees and host communities in Uganda. The project follows the Government of Uganda’s Settlement Transformation Agenda (STA).
The Government of Uganda (the Recipient), represented by the Office of the Prime Minister (The Project Executing Agency) received a grant from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by German Federal Ministry of Development and Economic Cooperation (BMZ) through KFW, in the amount of Euro 10 Million towards the cost of the Refugee Response Fund (RFF). RRF is partly implemented by Oxfam in Uganda (the Employer). Oxfam in Uganda intends to apply part of the fund to cover eligible payments under the lumpsum contract TD 20/004/ARU-UG for Construction of Gbuluku Atuni Water Supply System in Rhino settlement and Host Community in Madi-Okollo, Arua District
Oxfam in Uganda now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Lump Sum Contract TD 20/004/ARU-UG for Construction of GBULUKU ATUNI Water Supply System in Rhino settlement and Host Community in Madi Okollo District.

- Bid opening 01st December, 2020
- Evaluation period 02nd December to 16th December 2020
- Evaluation Report to OPM 18th December 2020
- Award of contract 04th January, 2021
Closing Date: Tuesday, 01st December, 2020 by (10:00Hrs); late submissions will NOT be accepted.
