Muhindo Jackson Rukara
Jackson is a development professional with over 11 years’ experience in Development and Humanitarian work. He has supported capacity building for both National and International Organisations. He has also worked with district local governments to help them integrate Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in development interventions to build community resilience. He has initiated several fundable proposals on resilience building and raised funds of over 2 billion Ug. Shillings.
Prior to joining Oxfam, Jackson had worked with the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction as Programme Officer for Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation for 4 years. He also worked as a Child Protection Programme Officer at Save the children; Community Based Disaster Management officer at Red Cross Society and as a Programme Coordinator for Kasese District Civil society network respectively.
Jackson holds a master of science in development management of the Open University UK among other professional qualifications.
