Doreen Naliyongo is a Development worker happily married with one child. Doreen is an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude and a drive to produce high quality work.She works with Oxfam as a public health promotion officer.
Prior to joining Oxfam, Doreen worked with World Vision as a Hygiene and Sanitation Assistant tasked with promoting safe WASH practises within the various communities of operation. It was a very interesting career for her as she had a hands-on experience and interaction with the different levels of community.
Because of her previous employment, she gained experience in Water and Sanitation which she puts to use at Oxfam as a Public Health Promotion Officer in the Emergency Response. This is an area she always wanted to work in. She holds a bachelor’s Degree in development studies from Uganda Christian University and a Post-graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute.
