Programme Administrator

Beatrice Akello has given valuable administrative support to the Oxfam in Uganda programme team for the last five years. She manages partnership contracts, ensuring that partners receive funds on time and comply with the partnership commitments. She also trains staff to manage their projects using the Oxfam system application program.

She is happiest when partners honestly adhere to partnership obligations and subsequently change lives of the poor through the programmes they implement.

Prior to Oxfam, Beatrice worked with World Vision where she gave human resource support and also worked with the finance and procurement teams. At World Vision, she supported various programmes including one that worked to rehabilitate children who were abducted by the LRA and others on education and health of orphans and vulnerable children.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Diploma in Social Works and Social Administration.
